This plot is located off the road from Benamargosa to Cutar and is south-east facing. Benamargosa is reached within five minutes by car. It has shops with everyday essentials and there are bars, restaurants, banks and much more. To Velez-Malaga and the beaches of the Costa del Sol it takes about half an hour. The plot is located right next to a tarmacked road. An access road and an excavated, flattened area for the future house to be built have been created. Water will be supplied by a well that has to be dug and electricity needs to be connected. A building permission for construction work to commence will have to be requested at the local Town Hall.

Cutar is located at 32 kilometres from Malaga to which there is a daily bus service. The service extends to Velez-Malaga, 16 kilometres away and many of the neighbourig towns. It has a population of about 700 inhabitants and is 331 metres above sea level. The principal source of income in this town is typically, vineyards and olive groves. The village is dominated by the peak of Peña de Hierro y Cutar rising to 585 metres. Evidence has been found here of settlements between the Neolithic and Bronze Age. The name of the town comes from the Arabic Cautzar meaning Fountain of Life.Indeed, an Arab fountain in the village is the only one of its type in the province of Malaga. The parish church dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Encarnacion, built at the beginning of the 16th century in the Mudejar style is of interest to the visitor. From the town there are panoramic views of the mountains and countryside.
