This elegant town house is located in the lovely village of Sedella. It’s still very much an Andalusian village and the customs have changed little over the years. The village has several bars and restaurants together with everything that one requires for day to day living. Driving time to the coast is about 30 minutes and Malaga Airport is about an hour away. Parking space is nearby. On entering this spacious house into a lobby you find on your right a very cozy living-room with a wood burner. Also on this floor there is a double bedroom. From the living-room a few steps lead up to a study, from where you carry on into another bedroom. There you have access to a terrace with splendid views over the village, the surrounding countryside and the mountains of the Sierra Tejeda. Back in the entrance lobby on your left you will find the dining-room leading on to a kitchen with an outside patio/courtyard adjoining it. Before you take the stairs up to the first floor you pass through a utility room with washing - machine, freezer and refrigerator. Leading on to the next floor you have a bathroom from where a few steps lead you into another bedroom. The house retains a lot of shelving and cupboards. Under the house there is plenty of storage room. The property also has a phone, satellite and internet connections. It would make an ideal permanent residence. Early viewing is recommended for this attractive and ready to move into property.

Sedella is a small whitewashed town with a population of approximately 935 inhabitants. It lies, at 689 metres above sea level, in the foothills of the Sierra Tejeda Mountains in a steep, mountainous area. Vineyards, almond and olive groves as well as some vegetable plantations on the terraces near town, are the principal sources of income. The area is irrigated by the river Rio de la Fuente and numerous small streams cascading down from the mountains. It is situated in a commanding position near the ruins of a medieval fort. Narrow winding streets lead the visitor to the church of San Andres in the higher part of the town near which there is a tower with Mudéjar decorative artwork, still in a fairly good state of conservation. Of Arab origin the village and much of the adjacent land were presented to Don Diego Fernandez de Cordoba after the re-conquest in recognition of assistance given to the Monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella. There are some tapas bars and restaurants, a weekly market and a daily supply of fresh meat, fish and vegetables. There is a bus service daily to the provincial capital Malaga. Similar to most towns in the area Sedella is on the perimeter of the Sierra Tejeda Wildlife Reserve, a nature lovers´ paradise with its interesting and varied flora and fauna.
