Frigiliana is an award winning and attractive white washed hillside village just a 10 minute drive to the beaches of Nerja. It is the ideal location for those looking for both the coast and countryside. The property is situated along a traditional street, and is within easy walking distance of a variety of shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants.
For sale we have a 3 bedroom townhouse that has been recently been repainted throughout and is in excellent condition. Anyone buying this property only needs to furnish it and it would be immediately ready to be lived in. The east facing townhouse is bright and is located in one of Frigiliana´s quaint streets......typical of streets found in Andalucia´s beautiful white washed villages.
In addition to the spacious 3 bedrooms, there is currently 1 bathroom (with the potential of adding a second downstairs), a fitted kitchen with dining room, a sunny lounge with fireplace, a balcony that wraps round the lounge, and a private terrace with views over the village and the mountains.
It has a long term rental history, but would make an excellent investment for short term holiday rentals. Equally, it could be the ideal private residence for a local family.

Frigiliana, this charming village is located just north of the popular seaside resort of Nerja. Its dramatic setting is 435 metres above sea level and from the village the views of the countryside and the Mediterranean coastline are stunningly beautiful. It has a population of approximately 2.200 people and enjoys easy access to the old coastal road as well as the new motorway. There is a daily bus service to the coastal towns and the provincial capital. The town nestles on the southern slopes of Sierra de Enmedio which forms part of the Sierra Almijara Mountains, the boundary line between the provinces of Malaga and Granada. The area is irrigated by the river Chillar which flows into the sea near Nerja. The waters are used for vegetable and potatoes plots which are common in the area as well as plantations of subtropical fruits such as avocados and custard apples. Archaeological investigation has revealed that the area has been populated since the dawn of time and there is ample evidence which indicates that Phoenicians and Romans established communities here. The village is divided up into two sections, the old Arab quarter with its winding, cobbled and shady streets and the new quarter. The main street which winds through the old town ends in a square where the parochial church of San Antonio is located. It was built in 1676 and among many details of architectural interest the exterior doors, with their lovely adornments, should not be missed. Modern times have brought all the amenities required by visitors and the local population. There are restaurants, bars and quiet terraces to while away the hours and enjoy the tranquil lifestyle.
